[Remote] Financial Reporting Analyst

CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking a highly experienced PeopleSoft Financials Reporting Analyst to support a large-scale enterprise ERP environment. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting enterprise reporting solutions across various financial business areas, requiring a strong combination of PeopleSoft Financials expertise and reporting development skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, enhance, and maintain PeopleSoft Financials reports using:
- PeopleSoft Query Manager and Query Viewer
- PS Query
- BI Publisher (XML Publisher)
- SAP Business Objects
- Translate business needs into effective reporting solutions
- Create report layouts, templates, and automated reporting processes
- Improve report performance and ensure accurate data delivery
- Analyze complex PeopleSoft data structures, relationships, and effective-dated records
- Develop reporting solutions across key PeopleSoft Financials modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Purchasing (PO)
- Asset Management (AM)
- Project Costing
- Contracts
- Grants
- Inventory
- Travel & Expense
- Accounts Receivable / Billing
- Validate reporting accuracy and ensure solutions meet business requirements
- Troubleshoot reporting issues and provide technical recommendations
- Support:
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Regression testing
- System upgrades and patches
- Production issue resolution
- Assist with reporting enhancements, releases, and application improvements
- Provide guidance and support to end users
- Create and maintain technical documentation, report specifications, data documentation, and test plans
- Partner with business users, developers, functional analysts, and support teams
- Gather reporting requirements and recommend practical solutions
- Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- 8+ years of experience supporting PeopleSoft Financials FSCM 9.2 reporting
- 8+ years of hands-on experience developing reports using PeopleSoft Query Manager
- 8+ years of hands-on experience developing reports using Query Viewer
- 8+ years of hands-on experience developing reports using PS Query
- 8+ years of hands-on experience developing reports using BI Publisher
- 8+ years of hands-on experience developing reports using SAP Business Objects
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Financials modules, including General Ledger
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Financials modules, including Accounts Payable
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Financials modules, including Purchasing
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Financials modules, including Asset Management
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Financials modules, including Inventory
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Financials modules, including Travel & Expense
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Financials modules, including Project Costing
- Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft tables, data relationships, and effective-dating logic
- Experience with SQL, data analysis, data quality, and reporting optimization
- Experience working through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
- Experience supporting large enterprise ERP environments
- Experience with government, public sector, or large-scale financial systems
- Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades, enhancements, and year-end processing
- Knowledge of ITIL or IT Service Management (ITSM) practices
- Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks
- Experience presenting technical solutions to business stakeholders and leadership
