[Remote] Email Marketing Strategist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Threadpoint is a Klaviyo Master Platinum Partner redefining how email and SMS drive growth for ecommerce brands. They are seeking an Email Marketing Strategist to manage end-to-end email and SMS strategies for DTC clients, focusing on lifecycle programs and performance analysis to enhance customer retention.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute email & SMS marketing strategies across multiple ecommerce client accounts
- Build, optimize, and manage Klaviyo flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, browse abandonment, sunset, and more)
- Plan and execute campaign calendars aligned with client goals, promotions, and seasonal moments
- Own segmentation strategy, building smart, behavior-based segments that drive relevance and revenue
- Analyze campaign and flow performance, pull insights, and present actionable recommendations to clients
- Manage A/B testing programs to continuously improve open rates, click rates, and conversion
- Collaborate with designers to brief and review email creative that's on-brand and conversion-focused
- Monitor deliverability health, list hygiene, and sender reputation
- Contribute to client strategy calls and reporting with a data-informed, ownership mindset
Skills
- 2+ years of hands-on email marketing experience, ideally in an agency or multi-brand environment
- Strong Klaviyo proficiency: flows, segments, campaigns, reporting, and deliverability
- Deep understanding of ecommerce/DTC customer lifecycle and retention marketing
- Experience with SMS marketing strategy and execution (Klaviyo SMS, Postscript, or Attentive)
- Analytical mindset, comfortable pulling data, interpreting metrics, and turning numbers into strategy
- Strong copywriting instincts. You know what makes someone open, click, and buy
- Familiarity with Shopify and ecommerce platforms
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, small-team environment
- Klaviyo certification(s)
- Experience with ecommerce brands doing $1M to $50M+ in annual revenue
- Background in conversion rate optimization or customer retention analytics
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Triple Whale, or Northbeam
- Previous agency experience managing multiple accounts simultaneously
