Responsibilities
- Sizing and selecting electric motors for Variable Speed Drive (VSD) or variable frequency drive (VFD) applications
- Applying technical criteria, engineering methodologies, and expert judgment in motor selection processes
- Incorporating energy-efficiency considerations into motor and drive system design decisions
- Identifying and addressing common challenges in motor sizing, thermal management, and application compatibility
- Understanding barriers to energy-efficient motor adoption in industrial or commercial settings
- Collaborating with engineers, energy managers, and equipment manufacturers on motor and drive system optimization
- Working in European, Chinese, or North American industrial or energy sectors
Skills
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in motor engineering, VSD/VFD applications, or industrial energy efficiency
- From United States/Europe/China
