[Remote] Digital Marketing Director

Meet Life Sciences is a growing healthcare marketing agency seeking an experienced Director of Digital Marketing for a 6-month contract opportunity. The role involves leading integrated digital marketing strategies for multiple healthcare clients and collaborating with senior stakeholders to drive measurable business results.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated digital marketing strategies aligned with client business objectives
- Partner with clients to identify growth opportunities and recommend data-driven marketing solutions
- Lead strategic planning across multiple healthcare brands and initiatives
- Oversee marketing automation and CRM programs, including audience segmentation, lead nurturing, workflow optimization, and reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve campaign performance through analytics and process optimization
- Ensure accurate measurement, attribution, and performance tracking across marketing initiatives
- Guide cross-functional teams through the planning and execution of integrated digital campaigns
- Work closely with creative, content, and web teams to deliver engaging customer experiences
- Continuously evaluate campaign performance and recommend optimizations based on insights and business goals
- Support marketing initiatives focused on both healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patient audiences
- Apply healthcare industry knowledge to develop effective engagement strategies while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations
- Leverage audience research and customer insights to inform campaign planning
- Serve as a senior advisor to clients and internal stakeholders
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment
- Participate in business development activities, including strategic recommendations and proposal support when needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 7+ years of digital marketing agency experience, including work within healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems
- Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing strategy and customer lifecycle marketing
- Experience analyzing campaign performance and translating data into actionable recommendations
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills
- Familiarity with U.S. healthcare marketing regulations and compliance considerations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Experience with customer journey mapping and personalization strategies
- Exposure to AI-powered marketing tools and workflow optimization
- Experience supporting organizations at various stages of growth, from emerging companies to established enterprises
