[Remote] Data Scientist, Senior

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will work with clients to analyze complex data sets using machine learning and AI, providing insights and developing algorithms to inform decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Use leadership skills and data science expertise to create real-world impact
- Work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs
- Dig into data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle
- Guide teammates and lead the development of algorithms and systems
- Use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers
- Advise clients as they make informed decisions
- Provide a deep understanding of the data, what it all means, and how it can be used
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in data science, including performing quantitative analysis, developing visualizations, and processing complex data to create data-driven insights
- 4+ years of experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases and cloud architectures
- Experience leveraging APIs to query systems and migrate data
- Experience using Python to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience using data manipulation and extract, transform, and load (ETL) procedures
- Experience developing and sustaining operational data pipelines supporting multiple data formats and interfaces
- Experience with developing data visualizations, dashboards, or lightweight Web applications to communicate key insights
- Experience with communicating information in oral or written formats to an audience with varying technical knowledge and expertise
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Analytics
- Experience working with enterprise IT capabilities, Government ATO processes, and NPE certificates
- Experience implementing processes, standards, and tools within an organization based on SAFe
- Experience developing dynamic visualizations to monitor availability, currency, and volumetrics of operational data pipelines
- Experience working with AI and ML technologies
- Knowledge of commercial Cloud services used by the IC
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related technical field
