[Remote] Customer Support Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Promoboxx is a retail marketing platform powered by brands, helping leading companies support their local retailers with online marketing. They are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Customer Support Specialist to join their Customer Services Team, where the role involves supporting retailers and brand customers, conducting trainings, and maintaining customer data.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring the Support inbox, responding to customer emails, and returning phone calls
- Learning the Promoboxx platform and becoming a product expert
- Answering general questions about platform functionality and best practices from internal members
- Conducting 1:1 Zoom trainings with users
- Updating account and brand network data (involves some basic data work)
- Gaining hands-on experience with social media marketing, retailer engagement, and brand-supported digital campaigns
- Assisting with additional team projects as needed
Skills
- Customer service experience in some capacity (retail, food service, hospitality all tend to foster very translatable skillsets for this role)
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and follow-through
- Ability to learn new software platforms quickly and clearly explain product functionality to customers
- A positive, motivated, and team-oriented attitude
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Familiarity with tech tools and data spreadsheets is ideal
- Preference for candidates interested in growing with Promoboxx long term
