[Remote] Customer Service Representative (Hybrid Eligible)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking a Customer Service Representative for their University Physicians department. The role involves providing high quality customer service to various stakeholders through phone and face-to-face interactions, as well as managing patient account systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality customer service to patients, departments, insurance companies & other entities who require our services, by working the IDX patient accounts systems for both UP & HPA
- This service is provided via the ACD phone system or face to face in a Customer Service Office
- Work written patient correspondence
- Update registration bad addresses and mail returns in the account system
- Represent MU Healthcare by providing high quality customer service
Skills
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Three years of customer service and or clerical experience is required
- Education may be substituted in lieu of experience
- Ability to operate a personal computer is necessary
- The ability to type may be necessary depending upon the position
- Previous call center experience
- Be able to receive and convey written/verbally communicated information
- Ability to remain seated at work for most of the working shift if required to meet responsibilities
- Be able to work without direct supervision as necessary
