[Remote] Contracts and Legal Department Administrator

They are seeking a Contracts and Legal Department Administrator to support the legal team, manage contract administration, and improve legal operations as the company continues to grow.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Company contract administration and processing, including maintenance of the lifecycle of all Company contracts
- Own and manage the legal request intake and review process
- Maintain Company contract templates, including updating as required
- Create and optimize processes for contracts, litigation, and compliance tracking
- Assist with developing templates, playbooks, and SOPs for recurring legal tasks
- Assist with identifying and implementing automation tools to reduce manual work
- Develop and implement document naming conventions
- Interact with Company leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day assistance in contracting and other operational needs requiring legal support
- Maintain the official electronic files of the Company
- Maintain and file corporate records
- Independently draft, review, and process routine contracts and legal documents
- Project manage Legal Department-related projects
- Ongoing help and input on Legal Department process efficiencies, including assistance with developing, implementing, and updating legal review processes
- Provide administrative support as needed within the Legal Department, including assisting the attorneys with day-to-day operational support, formatting documents, and other activities as needed
- Know, understand, and follow Company guidelines, and employment policies and procedures
- Work on other projects as assigned
Skills
- An undergraduate degree, contract management experience, and paralegal experience
- Experience implementing and managing a contract/document management system
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with other departments, vendors, and contracting parties with limited attorney instruction or oversight
- Superb organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Must be a proven team player willing to pitch-in on projects outside of normal responsibilities. Collaboration and communication are key
- Ability to balance workload amid interruption and change in priorities, potentially multiple times within the same workday
- Ability to work well under pressure and evolving changes within the Company
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all Company matters
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and the Google suite of products
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly, positive, and professional demeanor
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Able to communicate effectively and professionally with staff and management
- Solid analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
