[Remote] Content Strategists & Writers - Talent & Culture (Contract, Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Nexus Communications North America is seeking talented content writers with experience in talent and culture to work on various client projects. This contract role involves developing strategic content for employee-facing programs and collaborating with creative and account teams to enhance client communication efforts.
Responsibilities
- Lead or participate in briefing, input, and discovery meetings; originate creative written concepts that respond to client briefs
- Develop strategic content tailored to different audience segments, job families, regions, and levels of seniority
- Create attention-getting concepts and clear direction for the design team - selling through your ideas and bringing words and art together into outstanding final work
- Present outlines, drafts, and works-in-progress; gather client feedback and collaborate with internal teams to move projects forward
- Partner with Project Managers and Account Managers to keep work on strategy, on vision, and on deadline
Skills
- 2 to 7 years of relevant experience as an intermediate to senior writer
- Writing experience in Human Resources, Talent & Culture, Purpose & Values, EVP, Leadership, Storytelling, Talent Attraction, or Internal Communications (client-side), and/or demonstrated B2B experience
- Undergraduate degree in Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills across long and short formats
- Strong research skills
- Digital and SEO fluency
- Self-direction - excellent time management and organization, able to work independently
- A collaborative spirit - easy to work with, reliable, and ready to push the envelope with innovative, disruptive work
- Comfort working remotely - familiarity with MS Teams, video calls, and screen-sharing is a must
- Strong French writing skills for the Quebec market are a significant asset
