[Remote] Content Operation Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Momcozy is seeking a highly strategic and hands-on Content Operation Specialist to drive their content distribution and amplification strategy across key North American channels. The role involves developing multi-channel content strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and analyzing performance data to optimize content effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and refine multi-channel content amplification strategies across North American platforms, encompassing Social Media (with a focus on community platforms like Reddit and Facebook groups), Email Marketing / Newsletters, and Influencer Collaboration
- Define the optimal content-channel fit: Determine which content belongs where, identify the best timing, cadence, and compelling "hooks" for each specific touchpoint
- Drive engagement and reach, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience effectively
- Translate the nuanced goal of "building perceived professionalism and trust" into concrete, measurable performance metrics
- Establish a robust data validation framework to track content performance and audience perception
- Analyze performance data rigorously to derive actionable insights, directly informing future content topics, formats, and distribution tactics (reverse-engineering content strategy based on data)
- Act as a proactive compliance gatekeeper for all NA-bound content. Identify and mitigate potential risks before publication
- Possess keen judgment on sensitive topics, ensuring strict adherence to relevant regulations such as FTC guidelines (especially concerning health claims), navigating discussions around topics like breastfeeding/formula feeding ethically, managing allergen/safety information disclosures, and identifying culturally sensitive language pitfalls
- Determine "which topics are currently risky, what tone projects sincerity without causing offense" within the North American context
- Collaborate seamlessly with Content Editors/Writers (requesting adjustments based on platform needs/data), Medical/Legal Review teams, and Expert resources
- Ensure the content journey from ideation/creation through final amplification is a cohesive, optimized end-to-end pipeline, not a series of isolated steps
Skills
- Demonstrable, hands-on experience developing and executing content distribution and amplification plans specifically within the North American market. This must include direct experience managing campaigns across social media (including communities like Reddit/FB Groups), email, and potentially influencer channels. Theoretical knowledge is not sufficient; we require demonstrated operational experience
- Intuitive, ground-level understanding of North American (predominantly US) cultural nuances, social contexts, political sensitivities, and overall communication climate. This is an internally developed intuition born from deep immersion and experience, essential for navigating risks and resonating authentically. This cannot be replaced by tools or ad-hoc research
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and utilize relevant content metrics (e.g., engagement rates, CTR, conversion rates, sentiment analysis, trust perception proxies). Must be able to articulate specifically which metrics they monitor and provide concrete examples of how they have used data to pivot content strategy or tactics successfully
- Experience within the consumer health, wellness, or a highly regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals)
- Experience working with influencer outreach and management programs
- Familiarity with content management platforms and analytics tools
