[Remote] Cloud IT Consultant

They are seeking an AWS Cloud IT Consultant to design, deploy, and optimize AWS environments for SAP Business One and SAGE clients, while ensuring successful client go-lives and maintaining cloud systems.
Responsibilities
- Deploy AWS environments for SAP & SAGE clients
- Configure and support web and application services (IIS, Apache, Nginx) and file/print services
- Lead go-live migrations, including after-hour cutovers
- Document build processes, adhere to policies, develop and maintain procedural documentation, and support continuous improvement
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure successful builds and deployments
- Monitor system and database backups to ensure processes are running as expected
- Complete environmental restorations and server maintenance
- Respond to security events and resolve issues
- Identify potential issues and drive proactive solutions
Skills
- 5+ years' AWS or other cloud deployment
- Strong Linux skills (SUSE preferred) and solid Windows/AD/Networking knowledge (VPN, Firewalls, AWS Security groups)
- Deployment of Windows Servers (MS SQL, RDP, DC, GTW, WEB, etc.)
- Familiarity with SAP HANA and ERP system administration (SAP Business One preferred)
- Experience with server administration, security protocols, and CloudFormation
- Self-motivated, independent thinker with excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience in customer support environments
- AWS certification is a plus
- Experience with project management tools like Smartsheet is an asset
