[Remote] Clinical Applications Specialist, Ultrasound Radiology (Midwest)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Samsung HME America is a U.S. medical imaging organization that provides advanced diagnostic solutions in Ultrasound and other medical technologies. The Clinical Applications Specialist will be responsible for delivering clinical and technical expertise during the ultrasound sales process, collaborating with sales representatives and providing training and support to enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical and technical instruction during the ultrasound sales cycle and post-sale process to internal and external customers, including on-site visits with physicians and sonographers
- Conduct professional ultrasound product demonstrations and post-installation training to customers’ clinical staff
- Persuasively demonstrate and communicate the clinical and operational advantages of the system to end-users, influencing purchasing decisions and driving adoption through consultative selling and expertise
- Provide clinical and technical support at trade shows and professional conferences
- Collaborate with the product management and service teams to share field feedback and improve product performance
- Support the sales and service teams with clinical expertise and customer engagement strategies
- Monitor customer satisfaction post-installation and proactively address concerns
- Ensure escalation situations are managed and resolved promptly and professionally
- Assist with basic on-site troubleshooting to resolve service-related issues quickly
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Responsible for booking travel and filing expense reports in a timely manner
- Responsible for completing customer demo and installation documentation in Salesforce
- Maintain current knowledge in relevant clinical and technical fields
- Represent the company professionally and maintain a positive attitude
- Complete all required training courses and maintain all required certifications
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s product portfolio and competitor offerings to effectively position and promote our solutions
- Manage time effectively and make sound business decisions
- Follow all company policies regarding travel, expenses, and equipment handling
Skills
- RDMS certification required; must possess excellent knowledge of the technical and clinical aspects of diagnostic ultrasound
- RVT required
- 6-10 years of clinical ultrasound experience in General Imaging, Vascular, OB/GYN, Point of Care, and Musculoskeletal is required
- Must be able to be compliant with hospital credentialing requirements
- Skilled in 2D and Color Doppler across applications
- Strong market knowledge and competitive mindset
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to perform clinical and product training to all levels of customers
- Must be self-motivated, results-oriented and team-focused
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Must be excellent with technology, able to present using a laptop and able demonstrate proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome

- Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record; background and drug testing (pre‑ and post‑employment) is required
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
- Must be able to sit and/or drive for long periods of time when travelling
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8-15 hours) for multiple days
- The noise level in the work environment is occasionally very loud
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- RDCS certification desired
- Prior commercial experience as a Clinical Applications Specialist in the Radiology Market is preferred
