[Remote] Client Service Associate, Mutual Fund Service Desk

They are seeking a Client Service Associate to provide high-quality services to mutual funds and clients, ensuring compliance with industry standards and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, time-sensitive, and cost-effective services to our mutual funds, college access 529, and offshore clients as well as company stockholders, and intermediaries through inbound calls via the call center or written inquiries that enhance client service and contribute to the overall success of our business
• Work closely with outsourced service providers (BNY Mellon, Computershare, Broadridge, etc.) to ensure adherence to high quality and quantity standards. Research and provide information on operational processes as required and ensure service providers’ policies and procedures are being followed
• Draft policies and testing procedures to adhere to industry and compliance standards. Work closely with Mutual Fund Services management to ensure compliance and operational processes are developed and functional and that they satisfy new or changing corporate policies, SEC, FINRA, or other applicable industry or regulatory regulations
• Provide ongoing research of the mutual fund industry to keep current with industry standards, laws, and regulations

Skills

• FINRA Series 6 required (within 6 months of hire)
• Effective interpersonal communication skills (oral/written) with demonstrated ability to collaborate and positively influence diverse audiences internally and externally at all levels of the organization
• Able to independently multitask and rapidly change focus as business needs dictate
• Fluent in general office software including but not limited to Word, Excel, and report writing tools and the strong potential to independently develop new software skills
• This position requires U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency (Green Card holder) as a condition of employment
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Mutual fund experience as well as transfer agency service provider expertise is preferred
