[Remote] Client Financial Optimization – Analyst

The Client Financial Optimization Analyst will provide financial consultation and pricing support, working closely with clients and sales teams to analyze pharmaceutical data and offer strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial consultation and pricing support to help CVS Caremark win and retain business
- Work directly with the client and the sales team to provide insight into a client’s pharmaceutical data
- Gain better insight into a client’s business problem to be solved
- Formulate a data-driven approach to solve the problem
- Analyze and draw conclusions
- Present recommendations to the client or Sr. Leadership
- Develop and/or maintain expert knowledge of the rapidly changing healthcare marketplace
- Perform a variety of client analyses in response to specific business questions
- Communicate findings, including recommendations back to key business leaders of our clients
- Engage in high frequency of client facing activities and meetings, including on-site or teleconferenced presentations and written documents
Skills
- 1 year of overall experience
- 1 year of experience in analytics
- 1 year of experience in a field such as: finance, mathematics, operational analysis, statistics, epidemiology, sales and marketing research, accounting, economics or other data-driven field. Experience may be met through educational and/or internship experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience extracting, manipulating, and analyzing Big Data (data bases containing multiple terabytes of data) and then using it to draw relevant conclusions
- Knowledge of SAS or other statistical and database software, including STATA, SPSS, R, and SQL highly preferred
- Experience or knowledge of pharmaceuticals or health care industry is preferred
- Experience in advanced Microsoft Excel-based modeling
- MBA or Master's in data analytics, finance, economics, or similar quantitative field
