Remote Buyer (Procurement Specialist)
Job Title: Buyer Location: Caribbean (Remote) Job Type: Full-Time | Remote About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Buyer to manage procurement activities across a distributed, remote-first environment. This role is critical in optimizing cost, quality, and supplier performance while supporting regional and global operations Responsibilities:
- Source and negotiate with local and international vendors for goods and services
- Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and supplier performance
- Create and issue purchase orders and maintain procurement documentation
- Track and manage inventory levels and delivery timelines
- Build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure long-term value
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, logistics, operations, and engineering teams
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field 3-5 years' experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Familiarity with procurement tools and ERP systems Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized Experience working with regional Caribbean suppliers is a plus
