[Remote] Business Development Manager - Oracle Consulting Services (Retail & CPG)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Huron is a global consultancy that collaborates with clients to drive strategic growth and navigate constant change. The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new business for Huron’s Oracle consulting services, focusing on building relationships and providing exceptional account management to clients in the Retail and CPG sectors.
Responsibilities
- Sales of Oracle Consulting services, including developing new accounts and expanding existing accounts within North America (primarily) for enterprise accounts (revenue > $750M USD) in Retail & CPG
- Networking and developing strong business relationships with customers such that they turn to Oracle and Huron for their resource needs
- Searching for new opportunities and growing the sales pipeline, generating leads, and submitting proposals to the client utilizing a broad knowledge of Oracle service offerings
- Working closely with experienced architects, industry SMEs, and delivery professionals to deliver solutions and pricing
- Prospecting, generating leads, and closing deals
- Growing sales pipeline and searching for new opportunities
- Communicating and partnering with C-Suite, VP, Director, and Manager level executives
- Assisting with refinement of Huron messaging to our target retail and CPG industries
Skills
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a business development/sales role in the IT professional services or management consulting industries
- Demonstrated expertise and a strong network within the Oracle ecosystem
- Full sales cycle experience, from lead generation, to identifying opportunities, to closing large, million-dollar plus deals
