[Remote] Business Development Manager - Hotels
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Searchparty digital Ltd. is representing a major global luxury hotel brand seeking a Business Development Manager. This role is responsible for driving engagement and advocacy across wholesale and travel-agent channels while developing business relationships and promoting the hotel group's portfolio.
Responsibilities
- This role is responsible for driving awareness, engagement, and advocacy across wholesale and travel‑agent channels by translating resort features, experiences, and brand differentiators into clear, compelling, and easy‑to‑sell messages
- The Business Development Manager role ensures regular contact and develops business relationships with the front-line agents, by webinars and in-person visits, to promote up to date awareness of the Hotel Group’s portfolio of brands, by delivering and presenting relevant sales materials to encourage maximum sales for the Hotel Group’s products and services
- The Business Development Manager works into the very personable Team Lead of the small Team covering the West US and Canada region
- The role analyses and prioritizes agencies based on market indicators, market share, room night data
- From there, develops sales strategies for each agency using relevant data and reports to plan and structure the content for contact
- Activities include virtual calls, training sessions, webinars, and territory events and in-person visits
- You’ll deliver and present relevant sales materials to encourage maximum sales for resorts
- The team work with Salesforce to report back on KPIs, data, and ROI – with support from the Team Lead
- The Global Director provides a lot of commercial direction, and then it is up to the Business Development Manager teams globally to execute the strategies with their portfolio of Travel Management Company accounts for their territory
- Remote working close knit team, with some travel to meet your portfolio of agencies
Skills
- Must have experience working with Travel Agencies
- Ability to drive awareness, engagement, and advocacy across wholesale and travel-agent channels
- Experience in translating resort features, experiences, and brand differentiators into clear, compelling, and easy-to-sell messages
- Ability to develop business relationships with front-line agents through webinars and in-person visits
- Experience in delivering and presenting relevant sales materials to encourage maximum sales
- Ability to analyze and prioritize agencies based on market indicators, market share, and room night data
- Experience in developing sales strategies for agencies using relevant data and reports
- Experience in conducting virtual calls, training sessions, webinars, and territory events
- Familiarity with Salesforce to report back on KPIs, data, and ROI
- Ability to execute strategies with a portfolio of Travel Management Company accounts
