[Remote] Business Development Executive - Remote Nationwide

E3 XPS is a full-service national Exhibit, Event, and Environment company headquartered in Kansas City, and they are seeking a Business Development Executive to help drive growth. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities and building relationships with clients in the exhibit industry.
Responsibilities
- You will focus exclusively on net-new business development
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with trade show exhibitors, positioning E3 XPS as the right partner for exhibit design, program management, event services, and experiential solutions
- Research and identify target accounts, building relationships with key decision-makers across marketing, events, procurement, and executive leadership
- Lead high-level outbound prospecting efforts including cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn/social selling, networking, in-person prospecting, and trade show engagement
- Build and maintain a healthy, self-generated pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with growth objectives
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand client goals, business challenges, budgets, timelines, and program needs
- Lead the consultative sales process, partnering with internal design, strategy, and operations teams to develop compelling, client-focused solutions
- Present capabilities, proposals, and recommendations with confidence; navigate objections, negotiate effectively, and close profitable new business
- Build long-term credibility as a trusted advisor through strategic follow-up, relationship development, and thoughtful account engagement
- Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline management, forecasting, and sales reporting
- Represent E3 XPS professionally in the market through client interactions, networking, trade shows, and industry events
- Ensure smooth transition of won business to delivery and account support teams while maintaining strategic relationship continuity where appropriate
- Travel requirements vary by market and opportunity, including trade shows, client meetings, and business development activities
Skills
- 5+ years of proven B2B business development or hunter sales experience is required
- Trade show, experiential marketing, events, or exhibit sales experience is required
- Demonstrated success generating net-new business through outbound prospecting
- Track record of exceeding quota and winning complex opportunities
- Strong consultative selling and discovery skills
- Confidence engaging senior decision-makers and executive stakeholders
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- High personal accountability, organization, and follow-through
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
