[Remote] Business Analyst – CDP Implementation

Xaxis Solutions is seeking an experienced Business Analyst – CDP Implementation to lead end-to-end Customer Data Platform implementations for a large consumer goods client. The role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, collaborating with various teams, and driving data activation workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end CDP implementation as a Business Analyst
- Gather, analyze, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications
- Work closely with Data Engineering and Martech teams on customer profile stitching and identity resolution
- Define and configure audience segments based on behavioral, demographic, and intent data
- Drive data activation workflows to downstream platforms including CRMs, ESPs, DSPs, and Ad Networks
- Collaborate with Marketing, IT, Analytics, and business stakeholders to align CDP capabilities with business objectives
- Support UAT, data validation, testing, and go-live activities during CDP implementation
Skills
- 7+ years of Business Analyst experience
- Hands-on implementation experience with CDPs such as Segment, Salesforce Data Cloud, Adobe Real-Time CDP, Tealium, or mParticle
- Experience with Profile Stitching (Identity Resolution) across multiple data sources
- Strong experience in Audience Segmentation and customer activation
- Experience with Data Activation across downstream marketing platforms (CRM, ESP, DSP, Ad Networks)
- Strong expertise in requirements gathering, user stories, functional specifications, and process flows
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- 8–10 years of overall IT experience
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant Business Analyst experience
- Proven experience implementing enterprise CDP solutions
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional business and technical teams
- Willingness to travel frequently to New York
- Experience in CPG, Retail, Beauty/FMCG, or Consumer Goods domain
- Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, Consent Management, and data privacy regulations
- Familiarity with broader Martech ecosystem including CRM, DMP, ESP, and DSP integrations
