Position Summary: As a senior, dedicated analytics associate you will play a critical role in supporting the end-to-end stewardship process, ensuring delivery of high-quality, timely insights that enable effective client engagement during one of the most critical program management functions. You will partner closely with Client Services, GBSC and other analytics leaders to drive alignment, enhance deliverable and support a consistent, scalable stewardship model across clients. Additionally, you will provide flexible surge support for ad hoc analytics requests, particularly during peak stewardship cycles of shifting client priorities. The ideal candidate will be able to juggle numerous inflight asks with a short timeline and communicate expectations effectively with internal and external stakeholders across the organization. In addition, you will be required to streamline processes and automate reporting where applicable. Intermediate to expert level SQL and excel skills are desired. Essential responsibilities include: Generating recurring and ad hoc analyses and reports related to client outcomes, ensuring timely delivery of both planned stewardship materials and emerging business needs Identifying and assessing opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and outcomes across the Stewardship process Support rapid-turn deliverables while ensuring outputs remain accurate, defensible, and aligned with client expectations Packaging insights from analyses into highly polished presentations for internal stakeholders and/or executive team Maintain a high level of responsiveness and adaptability, adjusting workload and focus as client demands and business priorities shift Conducting primary and/or secondary research to identify required data to solve a given business question Overseeing build-out of tools/technology as needed to ensure claims ops and client services have ability to comprehensively track outcomes Intermediate knowledge of fundamental claim concepts, practices, and procedures within GB’s operations Able to work independently with minimal guidance as needed Tasked with solving problems of moderate to high complexity Significant client interaction and engagement Preferred Requirements Ability to think critically and break down complex business problems Clear and effective communication Strong academic credentials Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint Bonus if you possess enterprise analytics skills (e.g., R, Python, SQL, SAS, Power BI, Tableau); however these skills are not required and can be taught on the job Bonus if you possess functional knowledge of Human Resources (not required) Required: Bachelor’s degree Minimum of 5 years professional experience with quantitative analysis Less than 20% travel Work Traits: Critical Thinking, Complex Problem Solving, Deductive Reasoning, Mathematical Reasoning, Excellent Judgment & Decision Making skills, and Excellent Communication Skills About You Required: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years professional experience with quantitative analysis. Less than 20% travel. Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, finance, data science, engineering, or economics. A background in insurance, insurance broking, or financial services. Excellent problem solving skills as well as critical thinking and conceptual thinking abilities. Expert in Microsoft products – Excel, Power Pivot, Power BI Expert proficiency in SQL for reading and manipulating data. Preferred: Master's/MBA degree; Strong academic credentials. Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint, familiarity with Access or enterprise database programs a plus. Demonstrated abilities to lead and develop analysts. Experience gathering and aligning business requirements across stakeholders. Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
