[Remote] Analytics Manager, Direct Sales Performance & Forecasting

Liberty Mutual is seeking an Analytics Manager to lead a team responsible for helping the business understand how our direct sales channels are performing and where we can improve. This role involves managing a team of analysts to produce forecasts, performance reports, and in-depth analysis to support business leaders in making informed decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of analysts responsible for forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis for Liberty Mutual’s direct sales channels
- Help business leaders understand performance across phone and digital sales experiences, including key trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions
- Lead planning and forecasting for new business, including identifying key assumptions and drivers of future performance
- Oversee monthly reporting and ongoing performance analysis, ensuring results are accurate, clearly explained, and connected to business outcomes
- Guide deeper analysis into meaningful performance changes to determine root causes, identify opportunities, and inform leadership decisions
- Partner with Finance, data/reporting, and analytics teams to ensure consistent reporting, shared understanding of business results, and continued improvement of reporting and analytical processes
- Define and advance an AI- and automation-focused roadmap to improve analytical efficiency, standard reporting, and insight generation
Skills
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative field; Ph.D. helpful given quantitative work they are leading
- Minimum 8, typically 10, years' experience; must have exceptional planning, analytical, decision-making and project management skills
- Expert knowledge of data sources, tools and business drivers
- Knowledge of statistical techniques required. Industry knowledge critical
