[Remote] AI Engineer (Infrastructure)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Elevanta Partners is seeking an AI Engineer who is passionate about building reliable, scalable infrastructure while leveraging modern AI tools. This role involves working closely with experienced engineers to optimize infrastructure, support cloud environments, and improve engineering productivity through AI-assisted development tools.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure and internal engineering platforms
- Develop and maintain applications and services using Java or another modern programming language
- Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform or similar tools
- Support data infrastructure and data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake or Amazon Redshift
- Utilize AI-native development tools and workflows to improve engineering productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot, optimize, and automate infrastructure
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline improvements and deployment automation
- Continuously learn new technologies and contribute to engineering best practices
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 1–3 years of software engineering or infrastructure experience
- Proficiency in Java or another modern programming language (Python, Go, C#, etc.)
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or similar)
- Familiarity with Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or other modern data warehouse technologies
- Comfortable using AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar) as part of daily engineering workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI
- Experience with automation, scripting, or DevOps practices
- Knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, or Docker is a plus
- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools
