[Remote] Account Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Novogene America is seeking an Account Manager to drive business growth within assigned accounts. The role involves developing sales plans, managing accounts, and understanding industry trends to achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop, establish, and execute strategic sales plans tailored to the territory and specific accounts, aligning with budget objectives and financial growth targets, under the guidance and mentorship of the District Sales Director
- Maintain an understanding and knowledge of the company’s products and services to provide accurate information to clients and key stakeholders
- Manage existing accounts, expand the customer base in the territory, and develop profitable long-term accounts
- Participate in sales activities and attend events/ conferences, as planned by the sales leadership
- Maintain CRM database with up-to-date information
- Understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs, and inform the internal stakeholders
- Perform additional duties related to sales and territory management as assigned
- 50% travel/ field-based activities required
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences
- Strong working knowledge of sequencing/ next-generation sequencing and genomics
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong business acumen
- 50% travel/ field-based activities
- Advanced degree
- 2+ years of life science sales experience utilizing genomics-related technologies
- Proven track record of success generating new customer leads and driving business growth
