[Remote] Account Executive, Strategic Catholic

Pushpay is a leading provider of innovative software solutions that empower churches and parishes to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and drive growth. The Strategic Account Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth by managing and expanding relationships with high-value, large-scale accounts, focusing on Dioceses and utilizing strategic thinking and consultative selling to uncover business challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target and penetrate high-potential Dioceses within the Catholic space
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders. This includes 50% + travel
- Leverage deep product knowledge to provide consultative selling and demonstrate how Pushpay’s software can solve business challenges and drive value for Dioceses and parishes
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to closing, including proposal development, contract negotiations, and deal closure while partnering with territory Account Executives and internal stakeholders
- Accurately forecast sales opportunities and report on pipeline status to senior leadership
- Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and a superior customer experience
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position Pushpay in the market
- Drive revenue through new customer acquisition as well as expanding business within existing accounts
Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience, with at least 2 years selling software or technology solutions to parishes and Dioceses
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a demonstrated ability to close complex, high-value deals
- Familiarity with the software industry, SaaS solutions, and knowledge / experience of the internal operations of the Catholic church is ideal
- Strong ability to understand customer needs, craft customized solutions, and drive long-term partnerships
- Expertise in consultative sales methodology, leveraging insights to influence decision-making at the C-suite level
- Skilled in contract negotiations and managing complex sales cycles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and articulate complex software solutions clearly and persuasively
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate technical aspects of software solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- MBA or advanced degree
