[Remote] Account Executive (Northeast)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Gradient Mortgage Capital is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Account Executive to develop and manage client relationships while driving new business growth. This role is responsible for building a strong personal book of business, promoting the company’s mortgage products and services, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with mortgage brokers and bankers
- Review scenarios and structure deals prior to submission
- Understand DSCR and commercial underwriting concepts (LTV, cash flow, property types)
- Educate partners on guidelines and execution strategy
- Work directly with underwriting and operations to close loans
- Generate repeat production through expertise and responsiveness
- Develop, grow, and manage a personal book of business by identifying, prospecting, and onboarding new clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, responsiveness, and high-quality service
- Promote and sell the company’s mortgage programs and services within an assigned territory
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve individual production goals and drive revenue growth
- Maintain an active and accurate sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and progression of opportunities
- Accurately track and report all sales activity, pipeline updates, and client interactions in the company’s CRM system
- Collaborate with the Vice President, Regional Sales Manager, and internal teams to align efforts and meet production objectives
- Qualify inbound leads and prospects through phone, email, and virtual communication channels
- Conduct outbound prospecting, including cold calling and relationship-based outreach, to generate new opportunities
- Present company products, programs, and value propositions during virtual and in-person client meetings
- Organize and participate in regular client meetings to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows as needed to expand the company’s professional network
- Participate in weekly sales meetings and one-on-one meetings with management
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, pipeline management, and achieving sales targets
- Demonstrated success recruiting, managing, and developing sales professionals
- Knowledge of mortgage products, lending processes, and industry terminology preferred
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in mortgage sales, financial services sales, or a related field preferred
