[Remote] Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Otterbrook is a well-funded, post-Series A SaaS company that focuses on marketing technology and privacy compliance. The Account Executive will be responsible for demoing the platform, managing complex deals, and improving processes while working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Demoing the platform — walking prospects through the product and explaining its impact on consent and revenue
- Running A/B tests — setting up split tests, analyzing results, and presenting data to CMOs and VPs
- Managing complex deals — navigating legal reviews, technical integrations, and multi-stakeholder buy-in across marketing, legal, IT, and finance
- Owning process improvement — testing, refining, and building systems in a startup environment with real ownership
Skills
- 2–5+ years selling SaaS or tech solutions to DTC e-commerce brands
- Deep familiarity with the Shopify Plus and broader e-commerce ecosystem
- Experience managing complex deals with 2–6 month sales cycles involving legal, technical, and executive stakeholders
- Technical fluency — able to explain A/B testing methodology, statistical significance, consent management, and privacy regulations independently
- Self-starter mentality — coachable but autonomous
- Prior quota-carrying role at a Series A/B startup with a track record of hitting targets
- Existing relationships with marketing leaders at major Shopify Plus brands
- $1M+ ARR closed in a prior role
