Skills
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts) in communications, journalism or related field
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong news writing and reporting proficiency
- Strong detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and juggle projects effectively
- Self-motivated and resourceful
- Ability to learn quickly
- Creative and high energy
- Sharp listening skills
- Results-oriented
- Effective judgment and ability to anticipate, spot and fix problems
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Good sense of humor and a love for travel a must!
- One year of prior internship or job-related experience in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism or related fields
- Travel industry experience or knowledge a plus
- Computer proficiency and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Cision, MuckRack and other PR programs a bonus
