Quantitative Analyst - Systematic Portfolio Construction (SPC)

If so, the Capital Group Companies has an exciting opportunity for you as a Quantitative Analyst for our Systematic Portfolio Construction (SPC) team.As a Quantitative Analyst for SPC, you will play a critical role in developing quantitative models and strategies to guide our investment decisions. You will work closely with portfolio managers, researchers, and other team members to analyze market trends and identify potential opportunities for our clients' portfolios. Your expertise in data analysis and portfolio construction will be essential in helping us deliver strong investment results for our clients.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. A Master's degree or CFA designation is preferred. You should also have at least 3-5 years of experience in quantitative analysis, preferably in the financial industry. Collaborate with team members to continuously improve and refine investment processes and models. Communicate investment strategies and findings to internal stakeholders and clients. Keep accurate and organized records of all research and analysis conducted. Stay informed on regulatory and compliance requirements related to investment strategies and products. Contribute to the overall success of the Systematic Portfolio Construction team by actively participating in team meetings and initiatives. Continuously strive to improve knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development and education opportunities. Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Represent the company and its values in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
