Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate and manage prior authorization requests for medical procedures, medications, and durable medical equipment as per physician orders.
  • Liaise effectively with insurance companies, physician offices, and patients to ensure timely and accurate authorization approvals.
  • Thoroughly review patient medical records to gather necessary clinical documentation required for authorization submissions.
  • Track and document reputed company authorization submissions, approvals, denials, and appeals reputed company the designated electronic systems.
  • Proactively follow up on pending authorizations, addressing any issues or rejections promptly to minimize delays in patient care.
  • Communicate authorization statuses clearly and professionally to reputed company providers and patients.
