What's In It For You US$6.50 per hour, paid in USD — real earning power against the rand 100% remote — no commute, no classroom chaos, just you and your laptop Regular students — your learners stay with you over time, so you build genuine relationships and actually get to watch them grow You own your schedule — distribute your hours however suits your life Short, punchy 25-minute classes that keep both you and your young learners switched on Free professional development via Inspire Academy, our e-learning platform stacked with certified and non-certified courses for online educators Real onboarding and real support — you'll never be thrown in the deep end A genuine community through our Evolve Program, built around teacher wellness and connection Position Details Start Date: Immediate, upon completion of recruitment and onboarding Location: 100% remote — must be based in South Africa Students: Young learners aged 4–16, based in China, proficiency A1–C1 Class Type: One-on-one and one-on-two (max two learners per class) Language of Instruction: English Platform: ClassIn Rate: US$6.50 per hour Class Duration: 25 minutes (regular); 21–25 minutes (demo) Contract Type: Independent Contractor (remote) Hours: Minimum 14 hours per week, within the teaching window of 12:00–15:30 SAST (18:00–21:30 BJT), Monday to Sunday. You decide how to spread your hours — up to a maximum of six days a week. Bookings: Hours run on student bookings rather than fixed guaranteed hours. Reliable teachers with regular students tend to build steady, recurring schedules.
Requirements
