16VC is an early-stage venture capital firm investing globally across AI, SaaS, fintech, deep tech, and emerging technologies. We’ve recently launched our Founder Fellowship with 80+ startups and 150+ founders worldwide, and are building our investment and platform engine from the ground up. We are hiring a remote MBA Associate (USA) to work directly with the founding team across investing, founder engagement, and growth initiatives. What You’ll Do 1. Deal Sourcing & Founder Outreach Source and screen early-stage startups globally Run outbound outreach to founders, accelerators, and operators Support pipeline development from fellowship + ecosystem networks Build targeted sourcing lists across sectors and geographies 2. Investment Support Conduct market research and sector mapping (AI, SaaS, fintech, etc.) Support diligence and investment memos Analyze startups, founders, and business models 3. Platform & Growth Support Support Founder Fellowship operations and engagement Help optimize CRM, sourcing workflows, and pipeline tracking Assist with “Break into VC” / 1:1 sessions funnel (if active) Contribute to content and community distribution efforts What We’re Looking For Current MBA student or recent MBA graduate (USA-based) Strong interest in venture capital and startups High execution speed and ownership mindset Strong writing, research, and communication skills Comfortable with sourcing, outreach, and operations—not just analysis Prior startup, VC, banking, or operator experience is a plus What Success Looks Like Consistently sourcing high-quality founders and startups Producing sharp market insights and investment memos Driving measurable pipeline growth (not just research output) Helping scale fellowship engagement and ecosystem reach Why Join 16VC Work directly with the founding team at an early-stage VC High ownership across investing + platform + growth Real exposure to global founders and deal flow Opportunity to shape both fund and fellowship from day one Location Remote (USA) Some overlap with Pacific Time preferred for collaboration
