• Collaborate with editors and team members to plan coverage strategies for breaking news and feature stories.

Experience

• Proven experience in journalism or related media fields, with a portfolio demonstrating strong writing and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with AP style for journalistic writing and editing standards.
• Competence in photography, videography, video production, editing software, and social media management tools.
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to connect with diverse community segments.
• Strong research skills combined with the ability to verify facts accurately under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for interviews, story pitching, and team collaboration.
• Experience in copywriting, proofreading, copy editing, and content management is preferred.
