Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate clients' financial behaviors, mental health, and family dynamics.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address both financial and emotional needs in collaboration with clients and our interdisciplinary team.
- Provide therapy sessions focused on financial wellness, utilizing evidence-based approaches to improve financial behaviors and reduce stress.
- Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development opportunities.
- Maintain meticulous and timely records of client progress, treatment modifications, and all necessary documentation.
- Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families on financial psychology, coping strategies, and resources for financial assistance.
- Advocate for clients' holistic needs within the practice and in broader community settings.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
- Valid CA license (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC).
- Proficient in therapeutic approaches that address financial behaviors, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to empathize with clients facing financial difficulties.
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
