Investment Tax Manager
Description Position: Investment Tax Accountant – Provisions We are seeking a detail-oriented tax professional to support tax provision activities within a large financial services organization. This role will primarily focus on investment-related tax accounting, working closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and support quarterly and annual tax provisions (ASC 740), including current and deferred tax calculations Analyze investment-related tax impacts, including fixed income, equities, and alternative investments Assist with financial reporting requirements and documentation tied to tax provision processes Collaborate with accounting, finance, and investment teams to gather necessary data inputs Support audits and respond to internal/external inquiries related to tax provisions Utilize tax and investment systems to extract and analyze financial data Skills tax provision, investment accounting, Tax accounting, asset management, insurance accounting, Tax, Accounting, Tax software Top Skills Details tax provision,investment accounting,Tax accounting,asset management,insurance accounting Additional Skills & Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of tax experience, ideally within financial services, insurance, or asset management Experience with tax provisions (ASC 740) strongly preferred Exposure to investment or fund accounting is highly desirable Proficiency with tax software and advanced Excel skills Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight reporting deadlines Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Springfield, MA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $152100.00/yr. Company benefits would be provided to a candidate once an offer is extended.
