Intervention Specialist | Online Special Education Teacher - Texas - Remote | WFH

In this role, you will provide specialized instruction and interventions to students in an online setting. Key Responsibilities... Individualized Learning Plans: Develop and implement personalized online learning plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Targeted Interventions: Deliver focused interventions using video conferencing platforms. Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with general education teachers and other specialists to support student success. Virtual Assessments: Conduct assessments and monitor student progress in a virtual environment. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely special education records. Parental Communication: Communicate regularly with parents and participate in IEP meetings. Digital Adaptation: Create and modify digital materials for students requiring interventions.

Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education. Certification: Valid teaching certification with a special education endorsement. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in special education, focusing on interventions. Intervention Strategies: Knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies for various learning needs. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using technology for online instruction and progress monitoring. Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and families in a virtual setting.
