Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated Remote Special Education Teacher to join our team as a 1099 contractor. In this fully remote role, you will provide individualized instruction and support to students, helping them achieve their educational goals in a virtual setting. Key Responsibilities  Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs and strengths.  Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).  Deliver engaging virtual lessons tailored to diverse learning styles and needs.  Monitor student progress and maintain open communication with parents and guardians.  Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support.  Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices. Qualifications  Bachelor s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master s preferred).  Valid Mississippi teaching certification in Special Education.  Proven experience working with students with various learning disabilities.  Proficiency in using virtual teaching tools and platforms.  Excellent communication and organizational skills.  Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
