You will be working on highly complex software stacks, including hardware-accelerated video/sound/data processing, media encoding/transcoding, and network transport algorithms. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing both local system performance and overall system performance, including efficient and effective use of web networking. As a specialist in cloud gaming technology, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions to business problems in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be expected to be a quick learner, enthusiastic about learning new technologies, and passionate about programming craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities

• Architect, compose, and maintain highly complex software stacks for our cloud gaming service
• Optimize local system performance and overall system performance, including efficient and effective use of web networking
• Deliver high-quality solutions to business problems in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Collaborate with engineers across functional groups to drive the development and scaling of our cloud gaming service
• Take full ownership of projects from conception to production, and be responsible for the outcome of the business

Essential Qualifications

• Experience creating and optimizing high-performance, real-time applications like games or simulations
• Solid C or C++ coding skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and environments
• Passion for programming craftsmanship and pride in your work
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers across functional groups

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing SDKs
• Experience with delivering APIs (e.g. Vulkan, DirectX, Metal, OpenGL)
• Coding skills in multiple languages (e.g. Go, Python, Rust)
• Experience with game development
• Experience analyzing and accelerating graphics workloads
• Experience working with the Unity or Unreal game engines
• Experience with automating functional and performance testing
