Exercise & Training Specialist
Job Purpose/Summary Responsible for assisting in with training and exercise programs as directed. Assists in course planning, organization, development, implementation of OSR’s training plans and customer support. Duties and Responsibilities Primary: Support and conduct exercises, training, and field tests. Assist in the identification of current and emerging technologies for the purpose of developing new programs/services, ensuring compliance with established requirements, securing information, and responding to requests. Assist in the development of best practices in support of Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities for exercises and training. Assist with the identification and creation of new courses as needed to meet customer needs. Secondary: Communicate with Knowmadics technology team members and other departments as required to support training, software technology research and development. As needed assist with test and evaluation of equipment.
Qualifications
Must possess a relevant bachelor’s degree or have at least 4 years equivalent operational U.S. Military Special Operations in CYBER,SIGINT, EW, HFTTL, UAS and/or Communications experience. Experience in performing training, technical and analytical work pertaining to telecommunication systems, services, and EW procedures. Experience planning and conducting testing, fielding, and training of EW systems and tactics, techniques, and procedures. Ability to work independently in remote or office environment with little direct supervision. Must possess and maintain a valid US Driver License. Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. State Department Passport. Ability to pass random drug testing in support of DoD Secret/Top Secret clearance requirements. Eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance – U.S. Citizenship required. Working conditions Must be willing to work in a variety of environments and be willing to travel both domestically as required. Must be flexible to work hours as required to match or support customer schedules and plan their personal schedule accordingly. Estimated yearly travel: %50 Physical requirements Prolonged periods of remaining in a stationary position at a desk and working on a computer. May be required to conduct physical activity is austere environments such as at elevations above 10,000 ft altitude or in harsh climate conditions such as open water maritime operations, desert, or winter mountain terrain environments.
