Profile Requirements: Min 2.5 Proven years Proven experience as a Dental Billing Specialist, Medical Biller, or similar role. Experience in Insurance Verification knowledge in Dental Proficiency in dental billing software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) and medical billing systems. Experience with PPO insurance is preferred Core responsibilities: Verify patients' insurance coverage and benefits for dental. Obtain PPO insurance breakdown of coverage Submit and track Medicaid claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and work with insurance companies to resolve issues. Ensure coding accuracy to maximize reimbursement and prevent claim denials. Follow up missed calls via phone call and messaging. Send online appointment link to patients wanting to schedule cleanings, emergencies or consultant only Ensure coding accuracy to maximize reimbursement and prevent claim denials.
