DEIBA Strategic Planning & Communications Consultant

We are seeking an experienced DEIBA Strategic Planning & Communications Consultant for a consulting opportunity supporting a large, complex organization. This role is ideal for a senior consultant who has helped organizations turn diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and accessibility goals into clear strategies, communications plans, implementation roadmaps, and measurable outcomes. What We’re Looking For The ideal consultant will have experience supporting DEIBA work in large organizations, public sector environments, transportation-focused organizations, or organizations with complex employee populations. Key Experience 5+ years of experience developing and implementing DEIBA-related strategic plans Experience supporting large organizations, ideally with 1,000+ employees Background in public sector, transportation, government, or similarly complex environments preferred Experience creating DEIBA implementation roadmaps, action plans, communications strategies, and stakeholder engagement plans Ability to facilitate listening sessions, focus groups, interviews, or leadership alignment discussions Strong writing skills with the ability to develop executive-ready reports, presentations, talking points, FAQs, and rollout materials Experience helping organizations measure DEIBA progress and sustain long-term impact Ideal Background This opportunity is best suited for someone who is more than a trainer or facilitator. We are looking for a strategic advisor who can support organizational planning, communications, engagement, and implementation. Experience with any of the following is highly valued: DEIBA strategic planning Organizational development Change management Internal communications Stakeholder engagement Climate assessments or listening sessions Accessibility and inclusive communications Public sector or transportation consulting Work Samples Candidates should be able to speak to prior DEIBA strategic planning or communications work and may be asked to provide a redacted work sample, case study, or project summary.
