Fundraising Lead – Pre-Seed Consumer Brands

The brand has already established its identity, product vision, community strategy, and go-to-market direction, with initial product categories centered around sun protection and lifestyle products designed for social leisure. After generating more than $400M in sales throughout my career and growing a social audience to nearly 200,000 followers in under six months, I became obsessed with consumer behavior, community building, and creating a brand world people want to belong to. Float Social is currently preparing for its next phase of growth, including product launch, manufacturing, and brand expansion, and is seeking an experienced fundraising professional to help secure strategic capital from the right investors. This role is ideal for someone who understands pre-seed fundraising, consumer brands, founder-led businesses, and the unique capital needs of emerging CPG companies. Who We’re Looking For? We’re looking for someone who has successfully helped raise capital for pre-seed or early-stage consumer brands and understands how to connect founders with strategic investors, family offices, angels, operators, and venture funds. Preference will be given to candidates with direct fundraising experience in:

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage Float Social’s fundraising pipeline
  • Identify qualified investors aligned with consumer brands
  • Develop outreach and investor engagement strategies
  • Coordinate introductions and investor meetings
  • Maintain investor CRM and fundraising materials
  • Assist with fundraising strategy and execution
  • Manage investor follow-up and communication
  • Help secure strategic investor relationships that provide both capital and expertise

Qualifications

  • Proven experience raising capital for startups or consumer brands
  • Strong understanding of pre-seed fundraising
  • Existing investor relationships preferred
  • Experience with angels, family offices, venture funds, or strategic operators
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work directly with founders in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Success in this role will be measured by the quality of investor relationships established and capital secured to support Float Social’s next stage of growth.
