Data Analytics Contractor | Remote | Contract
Data Analytics | 6-9 Years of Experience | Remote | Contract Walker Healthforce is seeking a Data Analytics with 6-9 years of experience to support a healthcare and life sciences data analytics initiative. This is a Contract opportunity. START DATE: ASAP HOURS/SCHEDULE: 40 hours WORKER TYPE:W2 CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- 6-9 years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, or Enterprise Data Architecture
- Advanced expertise in Data Vault 2.0 modeling, including Hubs, Links, Satellites, PIT Tables, Bridge Tables, and Business Vault constructs
- 3-5+ years of experience with Snowflake data platform and advanced cloud data modeling techniques
- 3-5+ years of experience working with Data Vault methodologies and enterprise data integration frameworks
- Strong experience designing logical and physical data models for large-scale analytics environments
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable data models, source-to-target mappings, and transformation specifications
- Strong SQL and data warehousing expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience working with Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical commercial data domains
- Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and technical architects
- Ability to develop detailed data dictionaries, mapping specifications, and technical documentation
- Strong communication and requirements-gathering skills
- Experience supporting enterprise reporting and analytics platforms
WE CONSIDER IT A BONUS IF YOU ALSO HAVE:
- Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool)
- Experience with Collibra or other enterprise data governance platforms
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other BI and visualization tools
- Knowledge of IQVIA, Veeva CRM, Specialty Pharmacy, Claims, EMR, and Payer/Formulary datasets
- Experience with dimensional modeling, Kimball methodologies, and star schema design
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical commercial analytics, field force analytics, market access analytics, or payer analytics initiatives
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and implement Data Vault 2.0 integration-layer models to support enterprise analytics and reporting initiatives
- Develop Hubs, Links, and Satellites with appropriate record-source tracking, historization, and auditability
- Design and maintain Business Vault constructs, including derived satellites, business-rule satellites, and calculated metrics
- Develop PIT (Point-in-Time) and Bridge tables to optimize downstream analytics and reporting performance
- Design Information Marts, star schemas, dimensional models, and wide tables optimized for Snowflake and BI consumption
- Translate business requirements and KPI definitions into scalable, build-ready data model specifications
- Develop source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, hash key strategies, and data dictionaries
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Commercial Operations, Market Access, Brand, Medical Affairs, Payer Analytics, and Field Force organizations
- Collect, process, analyze, and validate large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights
- Develop and maintain data models, reporting structures, dashboards, and analytical datasets
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency through data validation and quality assurance processes
- Partner with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver scalable data solutions
- Support metadata management, governance, and data lineage initiatives
- Contribute to enterprise data architecture and best practices for data modeling and analytics enablement
