Job Description
This role is based in our Auburndale, MA office Informa TechTarget is seeking a Contract Manager/Paralegal to join the Company’s Deal Desk team to support the Legal and Compliance Teams. Key responsibilities include supporting the contract management, sales, and customer success teams with vendor and customer contract review, negotiation, administration, and other support functions. This role ensures the smooth operation of contract workflows and legal processes while serving as the primary administrator for legal systems. The Contract Manager/Paralegal will work with other key business partners and stakeholders and provide support to attorneys and other paralegals as needed. Essential Duties
- Own day-to-day administration of the Company’s contract lifecycle management (CLM) tool, including intake, tracking, organization, and reporting;
- Support contract lifecycle processes—from initiation through execution and storage;
- Partner with teams to improve and scale contract workflows, templates, and processes and coordinate attorney review and approval;
- Respond to internal contract and legal operations questions with clarity and urgency;
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including Master Service Agreements, Purchase Orders, Insertion Orders, and Statements of Work to support sale of media and related products;
- Interface and collaborate with various business units and leaders at all levels of the organization, including Legal, Finance, Sales, IT, and Human Resources, as well as with external representatives and parties as needed;
- Serve as lead on gathering records and information for third party claims, discovery requests related to litigation, or due diligence materials needed for business transactions; and
- Assist with and perform special projects and provide general administrative support for the Legal Department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school and paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred;
- 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a corporate legal department supporting commercial contracting matters;
- Must have experience with contracts management and commercial contracts review/support including experience working with IronClad or other CLMs;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with diverse groups across the organization;
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member under tight deadlines, carry out multiple related activities simultaneously, proactively identify issues and provide strategic advice;
- Ability to efficiently and effectively manage complex and high-profile issues and competing priorities;
