Consumer Loan Processing Supervisor
Responsible for organizing, planning, supervising, working on loan files, and training for consumer loan processing, post loan closing, and loan quality control functions of Marine Credit Union (MCU). Supervises the performance of a team of Loan Processing, ensuring standards for Quality, Service, Timeliness, and Accuracy are successfully met. Lead the coaching and career development of staff. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise the activities of consumer loan processing department in compliance with State and Federal Regulations. Assist in making decisions on team staffing, including hiring, and terminations, including coaching annual/periodic performance reviews and disciplinary matters. Supervise, write and update policies and procedures manual for Loan Processing. Plan and organize workload assignments for staff to ensure most efficient use of resources and to make sure department deadlines are met. Ensures that loan modifications and line of credit closures are processed accurately with documents prepared correctly. Effectively utilize/manage lending software including Symitar, NCINO, Synapsys, and Prologue. Mentors and manages staff career development, including assigning and conducting relevant training. Regularly provides reporting on team/department activity. Does the duty of processing files each day as well Other duties as assigned. Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in related field 3-5 years in lending industry with emphasis on loan processing/servicing. Minimum 1 year in supervisory or leadership role.
