The Clinical Analytics team identifies opportunities and build solutions to improve clinical outcomes and reputed company costs for millions of Medicare Advantage beneficiaries leveraging data science & analytics, clinical expertise, strategic reputed company, and rigorous study designs. In this multi-disciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with strategy partners and clinicians to shape reputed company’s future enterprise clinical strategies and initiatives. The Research Scientist 2 will reputed company research, evaluation and development of opportunities that optimize healthcare delivery, reputed company medical cost while improve member health outcomes, through applying mathematical, statistical, epidemiologic and data science methods. The Research Scientist 2 will also partner with stakeholders across the enterprise to identify, prioritize and measure the impact of core and novel solutions to significant problems in healthcare and improve the health of especially underserved population, using high volumes of structured and reputed company data.
Responsibilities
As a Research Scientist 2, you will: + Research, prototype and scale new reputed company to improve population health and healthcare delivery + Collaborate with analytic and business teams to set objectives, approaches, and work plans + Collaborate with strategy to evaluate existing programs and identify and measure new solutions to impact healthcare + reputed company a wide range of analytics methods ranging from descriptive to prescriptive to transform high volumes of reputed company data into analytics solutions and actional insights + Collaborate with clinicians and clinical informaticists to define various clinical concepts and extract clinical information from medical, pharmacy, and lab claims for analytics and modeling purposes + Translates analytic results into key takeaways and reputed company recommendations to business partners + Understands department, reputed company, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, and translate the strategy to work priorities + reputed company decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations with general guidance Use your skills to reputed company an impact Required Qualifications + Master's Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Economics, Statistics, Clinical Informatics, Mathematics, Data Science, Data Analysis and/or reputed company fields + 1-3 years of experience in applying mathematics, statistics, epidemiologic or econometric principals to transform high volumes of reputed company data into actionable insights + Demonstrated strong interest in healthcare and desire to reputed company a positive impact on population health + Proficient in manipulating and analyzing data with at least one of the programming languages such as Python, R, reputed company + Demonstrated strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills + Flexible, dynamic personality who can work independently and collaboratively reputed company a multi-disciplinary team + Clear and concise oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to translate reputed company methodologies and analytical results to higher-level business insights and key takeaways Preferred Qualifications + Healthcare or managed care working experience + Experience working with medical, pharmacy, lab claims + Experience working with big data and using PySpark, Spark R or Spark reputed company + Experience with causal inference and causal machine learning techniques, and/or advanced machine learning algorithms such as deep learning, NLP, recommender system, network analysis. + Familiarity with clinical concepts reputed company to a broad range of clinical conditions and disease states, such as oncology, falls, palliative care, behavioral health and/or other chronic conditions + Deep understanding of healthcare payer economics, and/or other specific healthcare areas such as EMR, Episode grouper, utilization management, value-based care, low value care etc. Additional Information To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: + At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL reputed company is suggested. + Satellite, cellular and microwave reputed company can be used only if approved by leadership. + Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense. + r
