POSITION SUMMARY The Buyer is responsible for developing and managing a network of external manufacturing and supply partners across multiple sites and product lines. This role focuses on building strategic vendor relationships, sourcing new partners, and optimizing cost, quality, and delivery performance. The Buyer partners cross-functionally to support production needs while ensuring competitive pricing and scalable vendor solutions that drive profitability and operational efficiency. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Builds and manages a diversified vendor pool to support multiple product lines and site requirements. Identifies, qualifies, and onboards new suppliers to expand capabilities, capacity, and cost competitiveness. Leads the RFQ (request for quote) process, sourcing and comparing pricing across multiple vendors to ensure best value. Negotiates pricing, makes packaging/product recommendations and finalizes production samples with existing and new suppliers. Manages vendor performance across cost, quality, delivery, and service metrics; drives continuous improvement with partners. Oversees vendor-related budgets, ensuring alignment to financial targets and cost expectations. Partners with operations, production, and product development teams to align vendor capabilities with business needs. Supports multi-site sourcing strategies to balance capacity, mitigate risk, and ensure continuity of supply. Evaluates supplier capabilities, manufacturing processes, and quality standards to ensure alignment with company requirements. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to resolve vendor-related issues, including quality, timing, and cost challenges. Stays informed of market trends, supplier innovations, and industry developments to enhance sourcing strategies. Additional duties as assigned. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We are open to candidates in various states, with the exception of those residing in the following: AK, DC, ME, NH, NM, OK, HI, MS, MT, NV, NE, ND, SD, VT, WY, WV Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $50,000 USD - $60,000 USD annually. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
