Business Development Representative (Freelance / Part-Time)
B2B Marketing & Advisory Agency JumpSeat is a B2B growth agency and advisory firm partnering with US-based companies to build stronger marketing, sales, and revenue-generation teams. We’re hiring a freelance Business Development Representative (approx. 4 hours/day) to drive outbound efforts for JumpSeat itself and, where relevant, support outreach for select client engagements. This is a freelance engagement to start, with the possibility of converting to a full-time role if it’s a strong mutual fit and business conditions allow. What you’ll do Prospect and qualify new business opportunities Run cold calling and outbound email campaigns Manage structured follow-up sequences Segment and refine target audiences / ideal client profiles Use AI tools to speed up prospecting, personalization, and outreach workflows Collaborate with the marketing team to align outreach with campaigns What we’re looking for Proven B2B business development or outbound sales experience Full professional fluency in written and spoken English (client base is US-based) Hands-on experience with sales tools such as Sales Navigator, Clay, ZoomInfo, and Outreach Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) to research prospects, draft outreach, and streamline day-to-day workflow Strong ability to learn new tools and processes quickly Results-oriented, with a track record of hitting outreach or pipeline targets Reliable, organized, and comfortable owning a workflow independently Logistics Freelance / independent contractor basis, approx. 4 hours/day Potential path to full-time based on performance and business needs Schedule overlapping with US business hours Fully remote Please share your desired hourly rate.
