3D Woodworking Design & CAD Drafting for Custom Fairytale Swing Roof (SketchUp)
Hello! We are looking for a professional CAD designer, mechanical engineer, or experienced woodworking draftsman to create a comprehensive 3D model and a complete set of manufacturing blueprints for a custom 4-sided "fairytale" roof. This roof will be installed onto an existing, heavy-duty wooden garden swing. Language Requirement: IMPORTANT: We are specifically looking for a Russian-speaking (русскоговорящий) designer. Clear, nuanced communication regarding woodworking terminology and structural details is vital for this project. Project Context & Design Aesthetics: The style of the roof should be a magical, fairytale "Teeremok" (Теремок) design. It is a 4-sided (hip-style) roof. The roof slopes must have a steep pitch (approximately 45 degrees). Crucially, the slopes must gracefully curve outward near the eaves (flared/everted edges / вогнутая сказочная кровля с отворотами). Structural & Framing Details: Hidden Raised Framing (Mauerlat): To achieve the desired deep interior clearance, a raised horizontal framing structure (mauerlat) measuring 15" in height must sit on top of the main 54" support beam. This 15" framing framework must be completely enclosed and hidden under the exterior roof slopes, ensuring there are no visible exterior gaps or awkward transitions. Interior Vaulted Ceiling: The inside of the roof must form a deep, 3-foot vaulted dome (сводчатый купол). The interior framing must be designed cleanly because the inside surface will be finished and covered with decorative wallpaper. Key Existing Dimensions to Work With: Base Footprint: The width between the lower parts of the A-frame legs is 93". Top Support Beam: The existing top horizontal support beam is exactly 54" long. Seating Clearance: The swing seats span a total width of 71". New Roof Length: The total length of the new roof must be 90" to provide proper overhangs and balance the 71" seating span below. Required Deliverables (What you must provide): Source 3D Model: The original, clean, well-organized, and fully editable SketchUp (.skp) file. Assembly Blueprints: Full structural blueprints showing dimensions, assembly angles, joins, and cross-sections. Detailed Part Drawings (Деталировка): Step-by-step drawings of individual wooden components with exact angles and dimensions for lumber cutting. Bill of Materials (BOM): A precise list of required lumber sizes, hardware, and material quantities. Contract Terms: Budget is negotiable based on your experience.
