Web Developer – WordPress, Shopify
Job Description:
- Lead a team of developers by providing guidance and conducting code reviews
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance web solutions
- Define and enforce technical standards and best practices for the team
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define project scope
- Oversee website hosting, domain management, and infrastructure
- Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow websites
- Lead the implementation of technical and on-page SEO best practices
- Proactively identify and resolve complex issues
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in WordPress and/or Shopify development
- Deep proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proven experience leading or mentoring a development team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience with SEO best practices and performance optimization
- Proficiency in Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console
- Familiarity with hosting platforms such as Kinsta and WPEngine
- Working knowledge of domain and DNS management (Cloudflare, GoDaddy, etc.)
