Volunteer: Initial fundraising setup
This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. Research and identify prospective individual donors and grant opportunities for a start-up nonprofit, and assist with outreach to arrange introductory donor meetings. Specific target profiles, timeline, and materials will be defined with volunteers during kickoff. This fundraising work will help Life Is A Legacy™ secure resources to launch and grow programs that preserve and share individuals' wisdom, stories, values, and final wishes. Volunteers will directly expand our ability to serve more people and safeguard legacies for future generations. We will collaborate closely, be responsive to questions, and provide background so volunteers can efficiently research prospects and support outreach. Volunteers will have regular check-ins to review leads and next steps.
